Knack for Attack Part 3: Counter Attack is a recorded seminar taught by FM Arne Jochens in December 2018 using two-way voice technology as well as text communication. It serves as a sequel to his original two seminars by the same name to give students a chance to build on their attacking skills and to calculate more concretely.
This 90-minute class offers instruction and training to help students improve at attacking and is aimed at students in the 1000-1500 Elo range. Are forcing moves always the correct approach to converting attacks or do we need to bring in more pieces first? How can we properly time the attack? Of course, the answer depends on the position and this lesson offers training that will enable students to make such decisions in their own games. If you joined Arne for the first two seminars on this subject, or if this is your first time learning with Arne you'll learn a lot from his detailed approach to analysis.
